Gas Prices Lower

June 20th, 2012

Average gas prices have dropped 2.6 cents per gallon in West Virginia over the past week.
AAA East Central says the price of a gallon of regular, unleaded
gasoline costs $3.57 in the state. That’s 7 cents higher than the
national average.
Prices range from $3.52 in Clarksburg to $3.59 in Martinsburg
and Wheeling.
Gas prices have receded statewide since peaking at about $3.97
in early April.
A year ago, gas prices averaged $3.65 in West Virginia.
