Rainy weather for the EP – thunder on Wednesday?
22 February 2016 Weather
Rain and showers are in the forecast for the next couple of days as a low pressure area tracking out of the south will be moving just west of the EP through Wednesday and Wednesday night. This is actually good news…if the storm tracks a bit more to the east, we could see some cold air mixing in and changing the rain to snow. As of now, heavy snow will stay west across the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. It looks like scattered showers will arrive Tuesday morning, become more numerous in coverage into the afternoon and evening, and even some steady rain overnight into Wednesday. With highs into the 50s on Wednesday, there is the chance of a few thundershowers before cooling settles back in on Thursday.
