Martinsburg Wins Girl’s Hoops Sectional Title

The Martinsburg Bulldogs claimed their 3rd straight AAA Region 2, Section 1 Girl’s Basketball Championship on Friday (2.26) night beating Jefferson 69-53. CC Hertleindy led the way with 30 points. Martinsburg will now host Hampshire in the Regional Finals on Tuesday (3.01), while Jefferson will play at Buckhannon Upshur. Those winners will advance to the State Tournament in Charleston.
