Martinsburg’s Ready For Rematch With Beckley
16 March 2016 Local Sports
The Martinsburg Bulldogs suffered a heart breaking loss in last year’s State Tournament quarterfinals falling to Beckley Woodrow Wilson 60-59. On Thursday (3.17) morning at the Charleston Civic Center, Martinsburg has the chance to return the favor as they again face the Flying Eagles in the 2016 quarterfinal round. The 5-seed Bulldogs are 21-4 with their only 2 in-state losses coming against #1 Morgantown, a team they could face in the Semifinals. Woodrow Wilson is 23-2 with their only losses against Capital and Huntington. Thursday’s tip-off is set for 11:15am with the Metronews preagame at 11:00am here on TalkRadio WRNR.
