
Hedgesville’s Berry Throws No-Hitter

In a game that did not see a hit until the final half inning, Hedgesville starter Andrew Berry completed a no-hit, shutout stranding runners on base in the top of the 7th before the Eagles collect 2 hits in the bottom of the inning for the walk-off 1-0 win over Hampshire at the Mingo Bay Classic in Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday (4.01). Berry and Hampshire starter John Judy were locked in a pitcher’s duel that went right down to the final out. Chris Festerman was called on as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs and delivered a single to right to bring home the games only run.
