Hedgesville and Musselman Win Sectional Openers

In the West Virginia class AAA Region 2, Section 1 baseball tournament opener on Thursday (5.12) Musselman defeated Washington 6-3. That puts Washington into a must win game at Jefferson on Friday (5.13) at 6:00pm. Musselman will play at Jefferson on Saturday at 1:00pm in the double elimination tournament.

In Section 2, Hedgesville plated 6-runs in the 3rd and 4 more in the 4th in beating Martinsburg 11-5. The Bulldogs will now face elimination at Spring Mills on Friday (5.13) night at 7:00pm. Our pregame coverage will begin at 6:40pm. Hedgesville will get a day off before playing on Spring Mills on Saturday night at 7:00pm.
