Martinsburg Takes One on the Chin

Spring Mills scored 8 runs in the 2nd and added 6 more in the 4th in a 17-1 win over Martinsburg on Friday (5.13) night in the AAA Region 2, Section 2 Tournament. The loss ends the Martinsburg season at 14-15, while the Cardinals move on to face Hedgesville in a best of 3 series for the Sectional crown.

Meanwhile, Washington saw their season come to a close with a 3-0 loss at Jefferson in the Section 1 Tournament. Jefferson now faces Musselman in a best of 3 series.
