Spring Mills Wins Opener with Hedgesville

In the opener of a best of 3 series to decide the AAA Region 2, Section 2 Championship, Spring Mills defeated Hedgesville 6-3. The Cardinals scored 4 in the 2nd to take the early lead and added 2 more in the 5th to lead 6-0. The Eagles plated 3-runs in their final at bat, but fell short to fall behind one game to none. Game 2 is at Hedgesville on Monday at 7:00pm. Our pregame begins at 6:40.
