Little League All Star Tournament Day 3

On Sunday (6.26) night at the Jefferson County Little League Complex, the winner’s bracket champion was crowned in the District 6, Area 1, 11-12 year old, Little League All Star Tournament. Hedgesville needed one extra inning to get by South Berkeley 6-5 in 7. South Berkeley tied it at 3 with a home run from Wesley Brennan in the bottom of the 6th, but Hedgesville regained the lead in the top of the 7th when Chase Renner delivered a 2run double. With the win Hedgesville advances to the District 6 Tournament July 15th and 16th.
South Berkeley will now face Jefferson in today’s (Monday 6.27) Loser’s Bracket championship game. Jefferson stayed alive by beating Martinsburg 10-5 in Sunday’s elimination game.
