Shepherd Wins Battle of Unbeatens

The Shepherd University Rams took a big step toward capturing the 2016 Mountain East Conference football championship with a 38-17 win at Notre Dame College on Saturday (9.24) afternoon in South Euclid, Ohio. Both teams were undefeated heading into the match-up. Shepherd led 21-3 at the half. Billy Brown had a big day with 9 catches for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns of 74 and 61 yards. Shepherd tallied 489 yards, while the defense held the Falcons to 257 total yards and DE Myles Humphry returned a fumble 77 yards for a score. Shepherd is now 4-0. Notre Dame is 3-1.
