Shepherd Wins Super Region 1 Football Championship

The Shepherd University Rams earned their 2nd consecutive Super Region 1 Football Championship on Saturday (12.3) with a thrilling 41-30 victory at California University of Pennsylvania. Shepherd fell behehind early 17-0 and gave up a late 2nd quarter score to trail 24-21 at the half. After allowing a Vulcans TD on the opening possession of the 3rd quarter, Shepherd stuffed Cal the rest of the way and the offense scored a pair of 4th quarter touchdowns to post the come from behind win.
