Martinsburg Runs Win Streak to Eight

On Friday (1.12) night at Spring Mills, Martinsburg used a 15-2 first quarter run to open up a close game early and roll to a 70-45 win. The Dogs led 39-22 at the half and outscored the Cardinals 31-23 in the 2nd half. Corey Barnett led Martinsburg with 15-points, Qualeke Bush added 13 and Jarod Bowie and Cedric Bush 10 each. Spring Mills was led by Christian Henderson with 14. Martinsburg is now 8-1 heading into a showdown at Loudoun Valley on Saturday (1.13). The Vikings are 10-1 including a win at Martinsburg to open the season. Game time is 7pm with our pregame at 7:10 on TalkRadio WRNR.
