Martinsburg Opens Playoffs with Big Win

On Wednesday (2.28) night at the Field House, top seed Martinsburg rolled to an 84-32 win over 4-seed Spring Mills in the semifinals of the AAA Region 2, Section 1 Tournament. In the other semifinal, 2-seed Musselman held off 3-seed Hedgesville 68-63. That sets up the Sectional Championship game on Friday (3.02) night with Musselman at Martinsburg. Game time is 7:00pm with our pregame at 6:35 right here.

In the Section 2 opener at Jefferson, the 2-seed Cougars beat 3-seed Hampshire 53-34. Jefferson will play at top seed Washington on Friday night in the Championship game.
