Martinsburg Evens Up Regional Baseball Series

On Thursday (5.24) night at P.O. Faulkner Park the host Martinsburg Bulldogs held on for a 7-6 win over Washington to pull even in the best of three AAA Region 2 Championship Series. Martinsburg took a 3-1 lead before the Patriots tied it in the 5th. Martinsburg answered with four in the bottom of the 5th to take a 7-3 lead. Washington then scored three in the top of the 6th but could get no closer as Martinsburg held on for the one run win. Game three of the series will be played at Washington tomorrow (Friday 5.25) at 4:30. We’ll have Miller Time live from the field at 3:00pm followed by the pregame at 4:10 and the first pitch at 4:30. The winner will claim the 2018 Region 2 Championship and advance to the State Tournament in Charleston.
