Martinsburg Wins Sectional Title

For the first time since 2011, the Martinsburg Bulldogs are the AAA Region 2, Section 1 Tournament Champions after a 67-4 win at Musselman on Thursday (5.10) night. Kyle Farmer went 6 innings for the win and added a 3-run triple. Noah Slack hit a 2-run home run. The Bulldogs now await the winner of the Section 2 Championship. Tonight at 6:00pm Jefferson hosts Washington. We’ll have Miller Time from Sager Field at 5:00 with the pregame at 5:45. If Washington wins they will claim the title for a 2nd straight year. If Jefferson wins the same two teams will play at Jefferson on Saturday at 1:00pm. We’ll cover that game as well if needed.
