Weekend weather gets better – next week is great!!

Snow moves off on Friday morning, setting the stage for moderating weekend temperatures and the return of sunshine. Saturday’s high in the mid 40s, Sunday gets to near 50, then there’s next week…

A major pattern shift is underway, and we’ll see it daily with warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine through Wednesday. Monday’s high should be near 60, then mid 60s on Tuesday and near 70 degrees on Wednesday. And if you like the sound of this…here’s the longer range temperature trend forecast through next weekend 3/12-13 (map on the left). The map on the right illustrates the strong southerly wind flow that is forecast for the eastern U.S. next week. Definitely a spring-style weather pattern that may support thunderstorms late next week.
